Omega 3 from Peak Performance Products supplies functional fish oil in capsule form, which is rich in the polyunsaturated fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). These fatty acids have an essential character, which is why the human body relies on an external supply. Therefore, a dietary supplement with omega 3 is ideal if no or only little fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, etc.) that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids are consumed.

The omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA have been shown to contribute to normal heart function. DHA alone is able to support normal brain function and eyesight. Both effects are scientifically proven when the daily intake is 250 mg each.
